Having spent 15 years on construction sites, I know they can be daunting for any LGBT+ identifying person. Now as a business leader and gay man, creating BuildingPride was important as I wanted to ensure LGBT+ professionals have a support network. I value talent development and creating supportive environments, and mentoring provides me with the opportunity to assist in the development of the next generation. I am forever grateful for the fact I have been surrounded by supportive family and friends and hope to pay this forward to the next generation. A generation who will go on a lead, hopefully making life better for others.
